Recovery From Surgery
After surgery you will be taken to the recovery room for your recovery and observation. Once you are recovered and meet criteria, you will be discharged home.
It is important to have a responsible adult with you for 24 hours following your procedure. They will receive your home care and discharge instructions, as well as information regarding your recovery course.
Follow-up Call
You will receive a follow-up call from a nurse from the Center to see how you are recovering.
If you have any immediate needs or concerns, please call your surgeon. If it is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
